And best of all: You don't have to stay at the hotel to enjoy our breakfast in Karlsruhe. Guests from outside the hotel are also welcome.

Kāishǐ – Asian Bar Food at The Curtain Bar
With Kāishǐ – Asian Bar Food, the Hotel Der Blaue Reiter brings modern Asian cuisine to Karlsruhe-Durlach. Far-Eastern-inspired dishes meet a laid-back, contemporary bar atmosphere here.
Kāishǐ is also a special culinary project at our restaurant designed to nurture young talent: Young chefs can contribute their own ideas and think creatively about the future of gastronomy.
Meals are served at our The Curtain Bar and, during the warmer months, in our summer lounge. A selection of wines and drinks rounds out the culinary offerings.
Kāishǐ is open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The Curtain Bar – Where You'll Find Cocktails and Drinks
In the evening, the The Curtain Bar at the Hotel Der Blaue Reiter becomes a stylish gathering place in Karlsruhe-Durlach. The hotel bar, which has been recognized by Falstaff, combines modern design with high-quality drinks and a relaxed atmosphere.
Our bar team serves freshly made cocktails, select wines, premium spirits, non-alcoholic drinks, and soft drinks. This makes The Curtain the perfect spot for a drink after a meeting, an after-work get-together, a night out with friends, or a relaxing way to wind down after a stay in Karlsruhe.

Vogel Hausbräu – Baden-style brewery cuisine right next to the hotel
If you're in the mood for regional cuisine and freshly brewed beer in Karlsruhe-Durlach, you'll find the Vogel Hausbräu Durlach right next to the Hotel Der Blaue Reiter.
The on-site brewery is physically connected to the hotel and combines a traditional brewery atmosphere with classic Baden-style brewery cuisine and house-brewed Vogelbier.
As a result, the Vogel Hausbräu is ideal for hotel guests as well as business travelers, conference attendees, and visitors from Karlsruhe who wish to combine their stay with regional cuisine.
